“Secret” Mask for Less Than $10
I was talking to Ashley, one of my girlfriend’s, earlier this year. She recommended a face mask, Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay. She stated it was one of the best ones she has EVER purchased. Others have said that it is the most powerful mask they have ever used. Another stated it was better than GLAMGLOW. And here’s the kicker… It cost less than $10!!!
Like many of you, I was doubtful. How could something that is less than $10 allegedly be this fantastic?!?! But I must say, I am so glad that I tried it! The Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay Mask is one of the best masks I have ever used! The way that it cleared my pores had me really feeling myself! The glow my skin had the following day had my melanin poppin’!!!
The major claim of Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay is that it’s a deep pore cleaning mask. This is done because it’s made with 100% natural calcium bentonite clay. You mix the clay with apple cider vinegar. And Voila! You’re on the road to having magnificent skin.
But with me being me, I wanted to know what was so special about calcium bentonite clay. According to healthline.com, bentonite clay is used to “detoxify the body, improve digestion, improve skin tone, and more. Bentonite clay has been studied and found to absorb toxins [that accumulate in the body]. Bentonite clay also helps skincare products adhere to your skin.” Interesting!
So, as I stated, you make a mud mixture with the clay and vinegar (or if you prefer you can use water). After spreading it on your face, you leave it on from 5 – 20 minutes, depending on your skin’s sensitivity. After washing it off with warm water, don’t be surprised if your face feels a little tingly and/or is red. That’s normal. Then continue your skincare, per the usual, i.e. moisturizer, essence, and serums. Enjoy your beauty rest. The next day when you wake up and look at your reflection you will love what you see, at least I did!
As always, if you’ve used this amazing product in the past or after reading this post, let me know. Also, if you would like to see this mask in action, click here to see it on my YouTube Channel.
Until next time,
J. Michelle
